How do I change the color of my workspace in Photoshop?

Published in Photoshop Interface 1 min read

You can easily change the color of your workspace in Photoshop by accessing the Interface preferences.

Here's how to do it:

  1. Go to the Photoshop CC menu (or Edit menu if you are on a PC).
  2. Select Preferences.
  3. Choose Interface.
  4. In the Appearance section, you'll see Color Theme color swatches.
  5. Click on the color swatch you prefer to change the workspace color. Your workspace will update immediately.

This allows you to customize Photoshop's appearance to better suit your visual preferences and working conditions. You can choose from different shades of gray or even darker colors, depending on what you find most comfortable.
