Adding Perspective Using Free Transform
You can easily apply a perspective effect to your text layer by utilizing the Free Transform tool and its Perspective option. This is a quick way to distort the text shape along a single axis.
Here are the steps to add perspective:
- Select the Text Layer: Ensure the text layer you want to modify is selected in the Layers panel.
- Access Free Transform: Go to the Photoshop menu bar and select Edit > Free Transform. A bounding box will appear around your text.
- Choose Perspective Transform: While the Free Transform box is active, right-click (or Control-click on Mac) inside the bounding box and select Perspective from the context menu. Alternatively, as per the reference, you can go directly to Edit > Transform > Perspective.
