How Long is Pie Math?

Published in Pi Value 1 min read

Pi math, referring to the length of the decimal representation of Pi (π), is infinitely long.

Pi is an irrational number, which means its decimal representation never ends and never repeats. While we often use approximations like 3.14 for convenience, the true value continues indefinitely: 3.14159265358979... and so on. As noted in the reference, "the number really continues on forever, a seemingly random series of digits ambling infinitely outward and obeying no discernible pattern."

Therefore, there is no final digit or end point to Pi.
