To add MP4 audio to your PowerPoint presentation, follow these steps:
-
Select Insert → Audio: In PowerPoint, navigate to the slide where you want to insert the audio. Click on the "Insert" tab in the ribbon. Then, within the "Media" group, click on the "Audio" dropdown menu.
-
Select Audio on My PC: From the dropdown menu, choose "Audio on My PC..." This will open a file explorer window, allowing you to browse your computer for the MP4 audio file. Even though the option says "Audio," PowerPoint can handle MP4 files that only contain audio.
-
Select the Audio File: In the file explorer window, locate and select the MP4 audio file you wish to add to your presentation.
-
Select Insert: Once you've selected the desired MP4 audio file, click the "Insert" button.
Once inserted, an audio icon will appear on your slide. You can then adjust the playback settings, volume, and other options in the "Audio Tools Playback" tab that appears when you select the audio icon. This allows you to customize how the audio plays during your presentation (e.g., automatically, on click, looping, etc.).
