You can insert a PDF into PowerPoint as an object, which essentially embeds the PDF file within your presentation. Here's how:
-
Select the Slide: In PowerPoint, go to the slide where you want to insert the PDF.
-
Go to Insert Tab: Click on the "Insert" tab in the PowerPoint ribbon.
-
Choose Object: In the "Text" group, click on "Object."
-
Create from File: In the "Insert Object" dialog box, select "Create from file."
-
Browse for PDF:
- Either type the path to your PDF file in the "File" box.
- Or, click "Browse" to locate the PDF file on your computer and select "OK."
-
Optional: Display as Icon: You can choose to display the PDF as an icon instead of showing the first page. Check the "Display as icon" box if desired. This makes the slide cleaner and the audience has to double click the icon to open the PDF.
-
Click OK: Click "OK" to insert the PDF.
The PDF file will now be embedded in your PowerPoint slide. When you present, you (or your audience) can double-click the embedded PDF to open it in the default PDF viewer.
