To change the slide layout in a presentation, follow these simple steps:
- Select the Slide: In the presentation view, click on the slide whose layout you want to change.
- Navigate to the Home Tab: In most presentation software (like PowerPoint, Google Slides, etc.), find and click on the "Home" tab located in the ribbon or toolbar at the top of the screen.
- Locate the "Layout" Option: Within the "Slides" group (usually found on the left side of the "Home" tab), you will see a "Layout" button or dropdown menu.
- Choose a New Layout: Click on the "Layout" option to display a gallery of available slide layouts. These layouts typically include options like Title Slide, Title and Content, Section Header, Two Content, Comparison, Blank, Content with Caption, and Picture with Caption. Select the layout that best suits the content you want to display on the slide.
The new layout will be applied to the selected slide. You can then adjust the placeholders (text boxes, image holders, etc.) as needed to fit your content. The layouts contain placeholders for text, videos, pictures, charts, shapes, clip art, and a background.
