Preparing Your HP Tango Printer
Follow these preparatory steps to get your printer ready for ink cartridge installation or replacement:
- Turn on the printer, and then open the printer lid. This powers up the printer and makes it ready for maintenance tasks.
- Load plain white paper into the input tray. Having paper ready is often necessary for the printer to perform an alignment after ink is installed.
- Make sure the output tray or wrap is extended. This allows any printed pages, such as alignment pages, to exit the printer properly.
- Gently press down on the Ink Door button to release the ink cartridge access door, and then lift the door until it stays in place. This action moves the print carriage into position, allowing you to access the ink cartridges.
Accessing and Replacing Ink Cartridges
