To change the access code (effectively a password) on your Ring Keypad, you'll need to use the Ring app. Here's how:
- Open the Ring app on your smartphone or tablet.
- Tap the menu icon (≡) in the top left corner of the screen.
- Verify the Location: Ensure you have selected the correct location if you have multiple Ring devices or locations.
- Tap "Settings."
- Tap "Users & Pets." This section manages all users and their access codes.
- Select the User: Tap on the name of the user whose access code you want to change.
- Tap "Reset Access Code."
- Enter a New Code: Input a new four-digit access code for the user. Re-enter the code to confirm it.
- Tap "Done".
- Tap "Save." This finalizes the change.
Once you've saved the new access code, the user will need to use this new code to disarm the Ring Alarm system using the keypad.
