- First unclip your pelmet, if you have one. This is the decorative cover at the top of the blind. Gently unclip or remove it to gain access to the roller blind and its brackets mounted on the wall or ceiling.
2. Release the Pin End Side
- Locate the top of your blind on the pin end side. This is the side of the blind that has a simple pin rather than the chain mechanism.
- At the top of the blind on this pin end, you will find a clear plastic cog.
- Rotate the clear plastic cog anti-clockwise. This action is specifically designed to retract the pin slightly into the roller tube.
- Rotating the cog will retract the pin away from the bracket just enough for you to remove that side of the blind completely from its mounting bracket.
