To remove a wired sensor, follow these steps carefully:
-
Pull out the sensor and its magnet. According to the reference material, you should begin by pulling out both the sensor and its magnet from their respective holes. This ensures that the entire sensing component is detached from its mounting.
-
Disconnect the wire. At the sensor itself, disconnect the wire from the back of the sensor. This severs the electrical connection between the sensor and the rest of the system.
-
Pull out the wire. From the other end of the hole through which the wire passes, pull the wire out completely. This removes the wire from the installation, allowing for complete sensor removal.
-
Complete the removal. After these steps, the sensor and its associated components should be fully removed.
