Moving a Dimension Object

Adjusting Dimension Extension Lines
You might also want to change the length of the extension lines that connect the dimension line to your model's geometry. Here's how:

- Click on an extent point. These are the points at the ends of the extension lines where they touch your model or where the dimension begins/ends.
- Click and drag the extent point.
- To change the length of both extension lines simultaneously, drag the extent point in a direction that is parallel to the extension line itself.
By dragging extent points, you can shorten or lengthen the lines that bridge the gap between the dimension text and the object being measured.
