You can delete guides in SketchUp Pro either individually or all at once.
Here's how to remove guides in SketchUp Pro:
1. Deleting Guides Individually:
- Activate the Eraser tool (or press the E key).
- Click on the guide you want to delete. The guide will disappear.
2. Deleting All Guides:
- Navigate to the Display settings. The exact location might depend on your SketchUp Pro version, but it's often found in a tray on the right side of the SketchUp window. Look for a tab that says something like "Default Tray".
- In the Default Tray, find the Display settings (you might need to expand a section).
- You should see an option to Delete All Guides. Click this button. Alternatively, there may be an option to turn off the visibility of guides here.
- All guides in your model will be deleted.
Alternative Method using the Edit Menu:
- Go to the Edit menu in the top toolbar.
- Select Delete Guides. This will remove all guides from your model.
Tips:
- Before deleting all guides, consider if you need any of them later. Once deleted, they are gone (unless you undo the action).
- You can use layers to manage guides. Place all your guides on a specific layer and then you can simply turn the layer off or on to hide or show the guides without deleting them.
