To select objects within SketchUp, you primarily use the Select tool, which has a convenient keyboard shortcut.
The most common way to activate the Select tool in SketchUp is by pressing the Spacebar. This is the default shortcut provided by the software.

- Click on individual entities (edges, faces, components, groups) to select them.
