How can I remove skis?

Published in Skiing Equipment 1 min read

To remove your skis, you can use either your ski pole or your hand to release the binding.

Here's a breakdown of the process:

Using Your Ski Pole:

  1. Take one of your poles.
  2. Press down firmly with the tip of the pole onto the rear binding. This should depress the lever and release your boot from the binding.
  3. Repeat this process with the other ski.

Using Your Hand:

  1. Squat down next to your binding.
  2. Locate the lever on the rear binding.
  3. Use your hand to manually depress the lever and release your boot. Note: some bindings can be difficult to release by hand.
  4. Repeat this process with the other ski.

Always ensure you are in a safe location, away from other skiers, before attempting to remove your skis.
