You can determine your skin tone by examining the veins on the inside of your wrist. If they appear purple or blue, you have a cool skin tone. If they appear green, you have a warm skin tone.
To determine your skin tone, it's best to do this in natural light, such as near a window or outdoors.
Skin tone is influenced by the amount of melanin present in your skin.
