Here's how to install PuTTY on a Windows computer:

  1. Download the PuTTY installer: Go to the official PuTTY download page. Choose the appropriate installer for your system (usually the 64-bit version).

  2. Run the installer: Double-click the downloaded .exe file to start the installation process.

  4. Choose the installation directory (Optional): You can accept the default installation path or choose a different location. Click "Next".

  5. Select optional features: The installer allows you to add a PuTTY shortcut to your desktop. Check the box if desired. Click "Install".
