What is the normal range of TB?

Published in TB Testing 1 min read

The normal range for TB depends on the test used to diagnose the infection.

Tuberculin Skin Test (TST): A positive TB skin test is considered an induration of 15 mm or greater in individuals with a healthy immune system.

QuantiFERON-TB Gold Plus (QFT-Plus): This blood test measures the amount of interferon-gamma released by T cells in response to TB antigens. A positive result is a value greater than 0.35 IU/mL.

Note: It's important to consult with a healthcare professional to interpret test results and receive proper diagnosis and treatment.
