I had put her on a lofty pedestal, figuratively speaking, and ranked her in certain important attributes considerably higher than man." This reverence, while seemingly complimentary, might have created an unrealistic standard that made it difficult for him to find a partner who met his expectations.
In essence, Tesla’s perspective suggests that he placed women on such a high pedestal that finding a match in reality proved challenging. Combined with his intense focus on scientific pursuits, marriage may have seemed incompatible with his life's work.
