Trivia Stakes is played with the following steps:
- An active player spins a spinner to determine the question category.
- The active player draws a card from the chosen category and reads the question aloud.
- All players, including the active player, write their answers on individual dry-erase boards.
- Before the answers are revealed, all players use a wager token to predict whether each other player answered the question correctly. This is the "stakes" element.
- Players reveal their answers.
- Wagers are resolved based on the accuracy of the answers and the correctness of the wagers themselves.
