The full form of UVR is Ultraviolet Radiation.
Ultraviolet radiation (UVR) is a form of electromagnetic radiation with wavelengths shorter than visible light, but longer than X-rays. It's a component of sunlight, but can also be produced by artificial sources. While UVR can have some beneficial effects, like vitamin D production, it also poses risks, including sunburn, premature aging, and an increased risk of skin cancer. Everyone is exposed to solar UVR, and some individuals are exposed to artificial UVR sources used in medicine, industry, disinfection and cosmetic procedures. It is invisible and cannot be felt.
