To change the install location in the Unity Editor, you need to adjust the Editor Folder Location within the Unity Hub settings. Here's how you do it:
- Open Unity Hub: Launch the Unity Hub application.
- Access Settings: In the top right corner of the Hub window, click the Gear icon to open the settings.
- Locate Editor Folder Location: Within the settings, you'll find an option labeled "Editor Folder Location".
- Specify New Location: In the Editor Folder Location dialog box, either type in the desired new installation location path, or browse to the folder you want to use.
- Confirm Changes: Click Done to save the new installation location.
From this point on, when you install new versions of the Unity Editor through the Unity Hub, they will be installed in the directory you specified. Note that this setting only affects future installations. It will not move existing Unity Editor installations. To move existing installations you'll need to manually move the editor folder and update the Hub to point to the new location.
