Pulmonary Veins

Systemic Veins
Systemic veins carry deoxygenated blood from the body's tissues back to the heart. These veins can be further categorized:
- Deep veins: Located within muscles or alongside bones, often near a corresponding artery.
- Superficial veins: Situated in the fatty layer beneath the skin. These are often more visible.
- Perforating veins: These connect the superficial and deep vein systems.
These classifications help understand the venous system's complex structure and function in returning blood to the heart. The differing locations and functions of these vein types are crucial for understanding various circulatory conditions and medical procedures.
