How do you add a camera frame in Premiere Pro?

Published in Video Editing 1 min read

To add a freeze frame effect (which seems to be what's meant by "camera frame" in this context) in Premiere Pro, you can insert a frame hold segment. Here's how:

  1. Position the Playhead: Move the playhead in the Timeline to the exact point where you want the freeze frame to begin.

  2. Insert Frame Hold Segment: Right-click at that point on the clip in the Timeline, and select "Insert Frame Hold Segment".

This action splits the clip at the playhead's position and inserts a section where the frame is held (frozen). This creates a freeze frame effect between two parts of the original clip.
