These locations include forests, mountains, lakes, and even other Norse realms accessed via the Bifrost.
Essentially, while the franchise originated in a Greek mythological setting, the 2018 "God of War" and its sequel take place in the world of Norse mythology, primarily focusing on Midgard, which is analogous to Earth.
