What is a Volcanic Vent?

What Comes Out of a Vent?
A vent is the exit door for many things inside a volcano. When a volcano erupts, these materials come rushing out through the vent:

- Volcanic Ash: Tiny pieces of rock, minerals, and volcanic glass, like powder.
