To import a Sophos VPN connection, follow these steps:

  1. Open the Sophos Connect client: Locate the Sophos Connect client icon on your computer and click to open it.

  2. Import the connection: Within the Sophos Connect client interface, click the "Import connection" button or a similarly labeled option. This will allow you to select the configuration file for your VPN connection.

  3. Select the Configuration File: A file explorer window will appear. Browse to the location where your Sophos VPN configuration file (often with a .tgb extension) is saved. Select the file and click "Open."

  4. Connect to the VPN: After importing the connection, it will appear in the Sophos Connect client. Click the "Connect" button next to the imported connection to initiate the VPN connection.

  5. Enter Credentials: You will be prompted to enter your user portal username and password. Type in the credentials associated with your Sophos VPN account.

  6. Two-Factor Authentication (If Applicable): If your organization has enabled two-factor authentication (2FA), you will also need to enter the verification code generated by your authentication app or device.

  7. Sign In: After entering your credentials and 2FA code (if required), click the "Sign in" button to establish the VPN connection.
