The 45th extended session of the World Heritage Committee took place in Riyadh, Kingdom of Saudi Arabia.
The session was held from September 10 to 25, 2023. During this session, the committee reviewed the state of conservation of World Heritage properties and made decisions regarding the inscription of new sites on the World Heritage List.
